I pre-ordered my iPad 3G today, and had them toss in an Orange SIM for 20p extra (what it doesn't say in the image below is that they have a pay per use deal where it's 5p per megabyte, and you can add on any of those daily/weekly/monthly plans on an ad-hoc basis - I like this). When I pre-ordered there were only details for Orange and O2 up. Now they've added Vodafone too and ... well, yeah, no.

HOW MUCH????
I expect 3 will come out with something as well, but that T-Mobile is unlikely to since they're merging with Orange. I like how the device is unlocked and the Orange SIM doesn't tie you in to a monthly contract, so I can chop and change data carriers at will.

Date: 2010-05-11 12:08 pm (UTC)My three sim is a couple of years old and at £10 a month for 3GB I'm sure you can do better then this now especially if you don't need a wifi hotspot subscription.
