Travels With a Camera Phone
May. 29th, 2008 12:17 amThey're cheap, they're nasty, they're low resolution, they're noisy in anything other than perfect light, they offer very little creative control over the image, but they're also ubiquitous. They're the built in 2 megapixel cameras in cheap phones.
But they can also be quite a lot of fun because you can just whip them out of your handbag (or whatever you keep it in) and try to be "arty" and "creative", which is what I've been trying to do on occasion of late. With a little assistance after the fact from Photoshop, the results can be quite fun. They're also useful for LJ icons (see the one attached to this post).
Without further ado, I present two of my recent attempts, from my travels to London, to be "arty, creative and fun", and I leave it up to those reading this to decide if that is indeed the case, or whether I'm just wasting battery power and space on my memory card for pointless photos of nonsense.
