Alternatively, they are quite right: it wasn't caused by rust. It was also not caused by miniature swamp aliens from the planet Zarg.

I sent them an "Aluminium doesn't rust" email at the same time I posted the entry here. Wonder if I was the only one?

And I'm going on holiday to the US soon. I hope they check very thoroughly for swamp aliens before takeoff!
