SAD? Oh yes! We've had days and days of dull overcast in the deep southeast since Christmas-I actually much preferred the snow- we were up in Stirlingshire chez MiL over Christmas as is our wont- no hill walks this time- well below freezing night and day and two feet plus of snow, so not a good idea!
For ourselves, we're organising a jaunt to North Ronaldsay at the end of May- no hilly bits, but as remote as you could wish for as long as you don't get eaten by the semi feral sheep or the seals! Also some of the best birdwatching in the UK.
