On one frazzled mum day, I had to go over and apologise to a couple of women in a café -- I'd glared horribly at them when their laughter woke my baby.

I'd rather have killed and eaten them, but I had to get the baby back to sleep, so I just glared.

It's not often one has the time and opportunity to apologise when one perpetrates public rudeness of that kind, though.
