This is a screen grab from the front page poll of the local newspaper, the Cambridge News. The poll is erroneously titled "which party do you think will win Cambridge in the general election?"

It should, of course, be titled, "Which party's supporters are sufficiently technically literate and the most keen to engage in electronic ballot stuffing?". At the time of writing, the greens are in the lead (in the actual election they'll come fourth). The two parties that will almost certainly come first and second in Cambridge, us and Labour (I'm hoping it will be in that order, obviously) are currently in second (us) and last (Labour) places.

Whether this demonstrates a microcosm of relative technical literacy, which can be extrapolated to the technical literacy of the parties and their members themselves, or not, is left as an exercise for the reader. I will, however note that nearly all of the MPs who voted through the egregious, and deeply technically flawed Digital Economy Bill last night were from the Labour party.
