Has anyone else noticed their friends page increasingly drowning in tweets? I wouldn't mind so much if the posts were ever interesting, but they never seem to read like anything other than half an IRC log, with all the bits supplying continuity and context removed.

Most of them are cut, so I can mentally filter them out, but they still take up one of the 25 slots on any given view of my friends page, making it more likely that it'll spill onto multiple pages.

I know that I've seen other people express some level of dissatisfaction, or at least bemusement at the whole loudtwitter concept, and I know of a few who have resorted to removing persistent "offenders" from their default view, or unfriending them. Is this feeling common? Do others find them annoying, or do they just tune them out? Is my friends page going to consist entirely of text messages from people I don't know by July? Why am I asking all these questions?
